Summer

I can't believe it's July already! We had a busy summer so far. Two of our siblings graduated high school and we got to go out to Colorado to see everyone. It was a blast!

Here is Jackson with his cousin baby Tyler. We're so excited when cousin #2 comes in October!

Both kiddos loved the bouncy houses with Nana and Aunt Katie. Can't wait for our next trip out!

We had a really nice Easter this past week. We colored eggs with the kids and my brother his some eggs for an Easter egg hunt. Jackson has been talking about Easter eggs and treats ever since because he loves his treats.

Nana made Megan this really cute Easter dress. She even kept the hat on for some of church. Super cute outfit, thanks Nana!

Here is our baby girl who just turned 1 last week. JJ posed with her and her presents. She has grown so much this last year!

Here are some pictures of the Easter egg hunt that Jackson did at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Better late than never right? Next year I think that I won't do so many eggs for one kid. He had a lot of fun though.

We took our first walk of the season on Tuesday. It was probably around 30 degrees outside. That's like spring here. Snow was melting and the sidewalks were slushy. We enjoyed it a lot.

Daily Happenings

My brother Andrew just entered the MTC last Wednesday on his way to the California Fresno mission. I'm so excited for him and the things he will be able to experience during this time in his life. Two years never seemed that long to me until he left for the MTC. Good luck brother!

I also wanted to share a funny story about Jackson. Today when we were getting ready to leave the apartment for church Megan was crying and hungry. So I pulled out a pacifier to try and hold her off until we got to church, which is only five minutes away so don't fret she didn't wait long. Jackson kept taking it away from her and trying to put it in his mouth. It's so funny he would do this because he never took a pacifier until he saw how important it is to Megan. Well, to stop him from sharing his germs with his sister I gave him a different pacifier, thinking it would be discarded soon and not be a big deal. Well, when we walked into church Josh had a smile on his face when he saw us because our two year old son was sporting a light blue pacifier in his mouth. He also found it after church and had it in his mouth the whole way home.......oh how Jackson makes me smile.

We had fun this year......despite the fact that both Jackson and I had colds for Halloween. We went to the trunk-or-treat party at the church and carved pumpkins as a family. It was a blast 'cause Jackson is a riot.

We found out we're having a little girl! We're so excited. Jackson was so funny at the ultrasound. He understood that there was a baby on the screen, even though I'm sure he didn't think it looked like one. I'm counting down the days until our bundle of joy arrives!
